Sixth Formers at Altwood Church of England School were once again celebrating impressive A-Level results.

Building on the success of previous years, a remarkable 30 per cent of entries achieved A* or A grades, with 48 per cent achieving A*- B grades. This year’s results saw a pass rate of 99 per cent.

Among this year’s top performers were Ellie Caulfield with A*AA, who will be heading to Bristol University to read Liberal Arts, Andrew Burley with A*AB, who will be attending UEA to read Business Management, and Mia Romero with ABB, who will be doing an Advanced Apprenticeship. In addition, having deferred her entry to university Lucy Enderby will take up her place at Regent’s Park College, Oxford to read Theology & Religion

Headteacher Neil Dimbleby, commented, “I am incredibly proud of our students; all their hard work has certainly paid off! It’s a credit to them and the staff at Altwood that such a significant number of our young people have successfully gained a place at the University of their choice. I am thrilled for them and would like to take this opportunity to sincerely wish them every success in the next phase of their education.”
