Who is this course for?

Anyone wishing to study languages at university as their main degree subject, or those who wish to spend a year abroad studying or working in a foreign country as part of their course.

How many exams are there?

30% of AS

35 minutes speaking test

35% of A Level

2 hours 30 minutes written examination

 

 

Unit 4

Speaking Test

 

15% of A Level

35 minutes speaking test

(including 20 minutes preparation)

 

 

AS + A2 = A Level

 

Entry Requirements:

Students should have at least a grade C in GCSE French/Spanish (Higher Paper only), an interest in studying language and enjoy discussion and debate
