What is a BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma Level 3?
A BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma is a Level 3 course that offers learners a work related vocational qualification to study whilst in the Sixth form. There is potential for the qualification to prepare learners for employment in the appropriate vocational sector and is suitable for those who have decided that they wish to enter a particular area of work. At the end of year one students can achieve a GCE A level. At the end of year two students can top-up to the qualification equivalent to two GCE A Levels.
